If your ex...

Was posting lots of happy jokey Christmas photos on Facebook would you believe they were honestly excited about it? You have been living apart since April, he met a new partner in August and says he is in love again. You were together for 13 years.
He is your ex. Why are you looking at anything to do with him? He is the past. Do you enjoy torturing yourself? Move forward. Do not give anyone that kind of power over you and your precious heart. Block him. Stop this futile thing. Look to the future. Your time now to be happy and be free. When you are ready, you may look for love.

You were together for a long time and I know you are still hurting. But keeping track of him on Fb is just prolonging your healing. Cut the cord and move on. Don't spy on him anymore. Its over.

Could it be a rebound? I know a person who was in a relationship for 7 years and they broke up this year and both already have someone else. It doesn’t seem natural to me.

I have always been happy when an ex-partner found new love.

@Jenni855 When it's over it's over, and I wish him all the best.
Jenni855 · 36-40, F
@helenS It's typical rebound but he can get on with it

@Jenni855 I would wonder if something was going on with them before the separation.

This is why I deleted my fb after breaking up with my ex

I probably wouldn't be following them on Facebook.

Sounds like he’s moved on. It’s time for you to do the same.
Jenni855 · 36-40, F
@Phrig Just saying it is ridiculously quick to find the new 'one' after a matter of weeks
Phrig · 41-45, M
@Jenni855 it’s fast, but that doesn’t mean it’s not genuine. Try to be happy for him, and work on finding happiness yourself.
Jenni855 · 36-40, F
Highly doubt its genuine. No time at all. Chances of meeting the next 'one' after a matter of weeks? Highly doubtful.

you honestly will never know for sure if he is actually happy or not. but as soon as we let someone go you take a risk that this could happen no matter how unlikely it seems.

He's your ex for a reason. Be happy for him and yourself
abe182 · 46-50, M
Just just idk ask him. Why the fb interpretations?
Shayla · F
I don't follow any ex's on any social media sites.
