Is it a turnoff for guys if you ask a girl what she’s doing and it’s never anything exciting?

It always feels like a sort of trick question. If I tell him he truth ( conditioning my hair, cleaning out my fridge, working on a report or whatever) it’s surely not a dazzling conversation starter. I hate that question. It’s almostvad bad as asking what I do for fun.
