is it possible...

to over time stop being attracted to men both phisically and emotionally?

I have many Lesbian friends who thought they were attracted to males so they married and had kids and eventually realized they were not happy/getting their needs met on any level...and they came out. That's one scenario. Same sort of thing happens to men too.

@Fernie it must be horrible being trapped like that. It must be horrible for everyone involved in that.

@RemovedUsername634280 Exactly right! That was a time when those women who finally came out would have to hide it...march in the Pride parade with a paper bag over their heads so they would not be recognized on camera because their kids would be taken away from them and very often the husbands would murder them.

women have had it really bad not just on the LGBT topic but on all levels.

@RemovedUsername634280 We are still fighting for equality...still not getting paid the same as men, I thought we'd be further along by now.
@Fernie Do you mean literally murder them? 😐😳
Fernie · F
@LunadelobosIAMTHEDRAGON Yes...it was not uncommon for men to kill their wives and partners if the woman came out
@Fernie This may be the first time I am learning of this Fernie.
This is so , I have no words.
I am devastated I am stunned. And when I am really upset/worried; I get a particular kind of stomach ache and it's starting.

Just one more reason we ALL
need feminism. And Matriarchy.
So does our Mother Earth.

(((Hugs))) Luna. 🌷

@LunadelobosIAMTHEDRAGON Take some deep breaths...you are right. Feminism is mocked a lot now and it's pure meaning has been distorted by insecure men and the women who NEED men like they need oxygen...no matter, we are still out here changing things for EVERYONE, not just us
@Fernie Thank you dear.

Also, a bit of booze helps. I barely drink and that's why a tiny bit really calms me.

For example, when I am about to have an anxiety attack/I am on the cusp: I have a few sips of stronger stuff.
And it does the trick.

I wish I didn't have the attacks, but, that's for another story.
Fernie · F
@LunadelobosIAMTHEDRAGON A shot of hard liquor is very warming, grounding and calming. I know what those attacks feel like....otherworldly...for me anyway.
@Fernie Yeah.

When I had panic attacks; I was in college

I got really sick with a bunch of stuff (again, for another story)
and it felt like the world is ENDING. LIKE NOW> IMMINENT DANGER>TERRIFYING.Every CELL in my body KNEW< all of me was SO SO SCARED.
...It was hellish.
Fernie · F
@LunadelobosIAMTHEDRAGON That was the most fascinating and terrifying thing about the attacks...the deep despair and feelings of imminent doom that even when the most intense part passed, those feelings lingered on.I handle them now by breathing and telling myself this will pass and everything is ok...that works for me. The first time it ever happened to me was just 4 years ago...I had to hold on the fridge and kitchen table because I felt like I was being taken....you just can't explain it to people
@Fernie You can't. They can't understand unless they have been in one.

That's not long ago at all, I wonder if there was any precipitating factors?
I am sorry you've had to go through that 🤗

In my case, I think:
The stress of school (learning ASL Is not easy, and I LOVED the DEAF culture)
being a single mother
and no support basically
and the past traumas
that ALL just snowballed and kinda almost toppled me. At THAT time it did topple me.

But I am still standing :D🕯️💪🏼👸🏻🥂

@LunadelobosIAMTHEDRAGON You seem too awake and aware (sometimes a curse too) to fold underneath it. Not sure how old you are but if you are still standing...your inner strength is amazing. Yes, I had my first attack right after my friend, last friend, of 43 years suddenly died. Who knew death was so final? I sure didn't
@Fernie Thank you so much. 🤗
It really IS a curse at times.

I am so sorry for your loss Fernie.🌹

I am going to PM you now, because this is not for all eyes to read.
