Do you ever feel alone?

When you're surrounded by other people. Even people you love, and love you. Do you still feel completely and utterly isolated from their affections? I have this persistent feeling; a missing depth to the bonds with those around me. I think I've built walls over the years that I never let down for anyone. I don't know, all I know is that I'm tired of feeling this way. It's really depressing never feeling like you are close to someone. 😞

Having one of those days where it's really getting me down.
