Guys, I need some help.

So my ex texted me today and asked why we don't talk anymore. I told him he didn't text me and I was in a happy relationship now. He apologized for the things he said and said congrats on the relationship. Even guys who I talked to before the relationship told me they were jealous and wish they could be with me/ miss talking to me. What's going on here?!!
