It Is A Shame To Watch Their Struggle

I have met so many good people here and previously on EP and I have watched some emerge as bright but brief lights moving out of the shadows of life. Then inexplicably many will just implode and disappear. Perhaps as they start to become transparent the internal stress gets to be too much for them and they need to run away and hide. Perhaps it is the intimacy or potential for intimacy which triggers the fight or flight response. So many good people unable to find genuine consolation for themselves and others.
