Would you marry someone who talks different language? Like the only language you both now is English

And they are not that fluent in English.
Would you also learn their language?

Yes, I like learning languages so it would be a good reason to learn a new language, and I'd be able to practice it a lot and become fluent in it (hopefully)....
@drymer I'm planning to learn his language as well since that the language I've always wanted to learn!

Btw are you that army dad? Or I mistaken you for someone else here? Haha

@Lilmeowmeow Haha, no army dad here, lol... I contemplated joining the Air Force in my younger years but it never happened (long story...)
:)
@drymer no no, not that army. But BTS army lol

@Lilmeowmeow OH, absolutely yes... You meant ARMY then 😬 So proud of them kids... RM's UN speech... Time magazine cover...
🤗
@drymer did you and your daughter have chance to see them live on their US concert?

I cried during his speech omg..😭😭😭

@Lilmeowmeow Oh we wish to see them live one day... Trouble is that now they've become so famous it will be expensive...

Their speeches more often than not are very emotional... Did you ever see this...? It's when they won the 2016 Artist of the Year MAMA award (sort of like the Asian Grammys) It was their first major award... Tears roll down...

@drymer oh yes I saw that but not full. I'm getting teary everytime I see news about them. Let alone listening to RM's speech. I just can't.. lol

Do you know that there's project buy 23!?
drymer · 56-60, M
O now, I didn't know about #ProjectBuy23 (I googled it up just now), I'll ask my daughter tomorrow about the details... (my daughter loves that song... we've bought all of their albums if I'm not mistaken...)
@drymer I just heard it this morning when I checked Twitter. And I held tears all the way to work on the bus lol. ARMY is like the best fandom! Too bad I don't have iTunes. If I had I would've buy that song too

@Lilmeowmeow There is a very strong dynamic between ARMY and BTS... It's not just "marketing" when they say it goes both ways, that while ARMY has found strength and inspiration from BTS, BTS has also has drawn strength from their fans. It's just a fact... Maybe it's the power of social media, idk, but there is a caring by most of ARMY that is just not the typical infatuation/admiration of celebrities... The members of BTS feel like family or friends (not some distant, out-of-reach, idealized celebrity), perhaps because we all know that they're not perfect, that they came from below through hard work etc... It's not some myth created by the media... ARMY has lived BTS' progression from wannabes to global stars and in great measure has shared BTS success, because there is some interesting interaction with the fans... The ARMY fandom has never been passive, "just watching", but has always been and felt "part" of BTS somehow...
@drymer eventho I'm new with BTS, i watched their old video so it feels like I watch them grow, especially when I watch American Hustle life (you should see if you haven't) .

They're not made by them big companies whose aim for money. But yes BTS seel merchandise album etc to make money but they also work hard to give something in return for ARMY. RM said they make music for healing. Ah . RM, really every words that came from him is like hypnotizing my tears to come out..
drymer · 56-60, M
Oh American Hustle is a must watch for any ARMY... It should be mandatory...! I think that it was when I watched American Hustle that I really started to warm up to them, and understand the whole process of becoming a "K-Pop star" (RM cleaning the hotel bathrooms, poor thing, LOL)

My daughter is always amazed by the amount of stuff she gets when she buys an album or something (posters, photo cards, etc.)... They make it "good value", they don't seem particularly greedy, frankly (and, in turn, that also earns the good will of ARMY... good business sense...)
