What makes a Man shut down after his heart or trust with a Woman is broken but, a Woman can get back up and try again?

@Lostpoet In my opinion, a hurt man isn't a broken man. He just needs time and someone to be there for him. But men don't let you be there for them.

@MysteriousRose it's because the piece that's missing can't just be fixed or replaced.

@Lostpoet Another woman can't replace or fix what was there. She can only add to it or provide a different piece that you didn't have before. Something even better to your surprise.

@Lostpoet Fair enough, I agree with you. If you switched places with a woman and saw your point of view through her eyes, would you say its fair to tell her that because of one woman or even a couple women that you've dated, and thought it would work out and it tasted good but, turned out she wasn't the one for you, that now any other woman after that will never be good enough? Despite the fact that what you originally tasted turned out to not be what you orginally perceived it to be.
