Should i introduce myself to a few clients to make friends? Or should i be more confident n see if ppl will ask me out?

I reach home from work... Chat w my aunt n aunt for a few mins n have dinner... Then walk to my upstairs apartment where its empty... No one to talk to... Not even on the phone as my bf makes an argument for everything.... There's lots of ppl I meet on work...
