So much question, wow. Anyway what's even "trashy" in the first place? You seem to have the answer in your question, but the only matching option "there's no other option cuz heterosexuality is a curse" brings other baggage.

If you really desired to know, you could Google "Why Do Women Fall for Bad Boys?" for example, but be forewarned it's not for the faint of heart. No easy, simple answers, everybody's opinionated, and a lot of BS.
