Society has historically frowned upon teen promiscuity (well, at least since people stopped having children at puberty so at least a hundred years), not so much because it was inherently good/bad, but because of the risks of disease and the dilemma that pregnancy posed to society. Contraception has kinda changed the meaning of sex for everyone
