Why is "cheating" considered "bad" even if you never plan on leaving your partner?

Okay, scenario, you're dating someone, they go away for a while, you sleep around, but in the end you NEVER plan on leaving your partner, and when they come back you'll stay with them and ONLY THEM until the end of time.

But will you tell them that you have cheated on them??

@Soossie We discussed a few times that if one of us was not around all the time, doing stuff with other people would be possible, if we promised never to leave each other. So yeah I'll probably let him know, but also let him know he's still end game for me.
@ManicMicah

Then it is an open relationship, and not cheating??

See?? Cheating involved lying and that is the worst part of it...

@Soossie This was discussed when we were FWBs a few months ago. Since our relationship is more serious, we never talked about if that was still allowed or not. That's what's got me thinking lately.
@ManicMicah

Then talk to him and make a decision together..
