Why is "cheating" considered "bad" even if you never plan on leaving your partner?

Okay, scenario, you're dating someone, they go away for a while, you sleep around, but in the end you NEVER plan on leaving your partner, and when they come back you'll stay with them and ONLY THEM until the end of time.

@lovelywarpedlemon But he won't ever leave again is the thing xD unless he goes to rehab a second time or gets arrested he'll be staying home for a long while.
