Women & Men: What's the point of a one night stand?

If you think you can't deal with this person on a day to day basis, why would you deal with them for one day?

You don't need to deal with them for that one day either. You just have sex with them because of mutual lust for each other and you move on.

@JollyLily If humans are sophisticated animals, why are we doing the same thing animals do? It doesn't sound to sophisticated to me.

The key word here is (Animals). They are sophisticated in terms of the things they build and the technology they achieved, but at the end of the day, they are still animals with all the urges and needs and lust that animals have.
