Well just see if you both click, you'll just know if you do. I've spent many a month/year pining over someone but it was just silly because i never did anything about it.
I've also been in that same situation, i loved that person but to her it was like nothing had even happened. So i know the feeling of not wanting to get hurt again, oh too well.
Just ask her if she wants to come over sometime or if she wants to go for a drink, if she likes you she'll make the time for you.
Just be prepared for the latter, if not then theres someone more suitable for you.
Like people say, you've got your whole life ahead of you. Took me a nearly 2 years to get over mine and i've got so much clarity now as a result. Just have fun man!.
