Why are older men wary of me?
I prefer older men, but when I flirt with them they look at me with suspicion. I thought being younger would be to my advantage, but it actually seems to scare them away.

Maybe you're reading too much into their "look of suspicion"... and they are really not suspicious at all, but instead intrigued and wondering how to respond.
