Can long distance relationships work??

@Helpinghands Yes I mean irl.. for example if a couple is dating for awhile and one accepts a job far away.. they are exclusive but not necessarily ready for marriage. Should they date long distance for awhile, try moving together or break up?

@summergirl4fun only they can decide the right choice for them out of those options. If they’re right for each other the relationship can survive a period of separation. Is it you in the situation?

@Helpinghands Yes and after dating long distance for a few months we decided to break up. I guess I struggle with that decision bc we do still care about each other

@Helpinghands Mainly bc both of our jobs require us to be where we are.. he has offered to move but I don’t want him to end up resentful or me to feel responsible if he’s unhappy.. idk it’s just confusing 😐
