Any difference between kiss and smooch

Myzery · 41-45, F
Gene Simmons isn't a member of "Smooch".
In usage, yes, I think there is. Smooch is more casual, playful, the kind of kiss that precedes one participant leaving for work or shopping. A kiss may be a stand-alone event or may lead somewhere, but it's more tender.

Smooch involves more lips and less passion

I used to text my boo "smooches" whenever I wished him kisses. Just sounds better than "kisses", idk.
