Do you think having a wedding with just patents and close family is okay?

A friend messaged me saying all my friends back home are upset we aren’t having a “ proper”wedding.

it's your wedding, not theirs. You do it your way, and that will be the proper wedding

Our family is coming over to Singapore for the wedding and we didn’t want to ask people to fly out here just for us. His brother is the best man and my sister the bridesmaid@Mildreadful
