Depends on the circumstances.

SweetMae · 70-79, F
Seems like some people don't know the meaning of that word.
SweetMae · 70-79, F
@SweetMae Just once is enough for me.
GlitterBug · 22-25, F
One about does it, though respecting that no isn’t exactly giving up
Casheyane · F
@GlitterBug In what aspect?
GlitterBug · 22-25, F
Well since this is in dating and relationships, I’ll use sex as an example. If my fiancé tells me no, I respect that and will not push on it until he changes his mind. But I know at some point he will decide we can, when he’s ready. It’s sort of like putting a pin in it rather than just giving up entirely.
There’s other things too, like maybe my parents say no to something I ask them for. Well, my parents can be persuaded. 9/10 times I can come back later with a thought out reason why they should give me this thing, what I’ll do with this thing etc. and they’ll give it to me. If they say no after that then I let it go, giving up sort of implies defeat in my mind. Being told doesn’t have to feel like defeat, there’s reasons people say no. I don’t really consider accepting those reasons-known or not- as giving up, I guess. @Casheyane

I usually don't get a no...I get silence.
Casheyane · F
@AlmostAnAngel From who, if I may ask?
AlmostAnAngel · 100+, F
@Casheyane don't wish to share that
Casheyane · F
@AlmostAnAngel I respect that. No worries :)
Zeushardhands · 36-40, M
if I know that i have given it all ..maybe 3
Casheyane · F
@Zeushardhands Sounds good
Picklebobble2 · 56-60, M
Time waits for no man. Neither should you.
None, I just assume NO, and don't ask the question in the first place. Except at the bar when I ask for a drink.
MrNoBody · 36-40, M
I used to think that there was no limit for me. But lately there just hasn't been much point.

@Casheyane It’s ok. I try not to ask questions I know result in a “no”. There’s no need to waste the time if I can predict it happening already.
Casheyane · F
@Rokasu Tell you one secret. It's not always, but sometimes the risk you take would count later on in life. :) You might want to remember this one day.
Rokasu · 36-40, M
@Casheyane Taking risks to me is like telling my boss I need a raise and having justification. Asking someone to be with me when it’s such a shady ordeal is not something I feel like risking.
WildHeart · 41-45, F
Depends on the situation at hand. Most times 1 is enough for me
