Would you ever date a best friend?

My best friend is male. I never saw him in any other way but a friend. We never had chemistry and there is no spark. So we are platonic best friends that have been through so much together. He and I have never let each other down. It would be just gross to have a relationship with him.

@Dusty101 you’re lucky. I think it’s so rare that one of the two doesn’t develope any sort of feelings at some point and the friendship gets compromised.

@RemovedUsername650611 yeah we are... no attraction whatsoever. He's become part of my family. He was there when my mom died and I was there when his mom died. He's become very good friends with my husband. They go biking in a big group together.
