So...

[c=#7700B2]A friend of mine mistakenly gets knocked up by a guy that spends most of his paycheck on alcohol. They are not in love or anything but they agreed to keep the baby and she had told him she would introduce him to her family today. She called him earlier today and he said he was on his way and it's now 10pm but he still hasn't shown up. My assumptions are that he's out spending money on alcohol instead of saving up for the baby[/c]

Of course. She is expecting her wishes and fantasies to override his bad habits, immaturity and lack of personal responsibility. If she really wants to be a mother, she will have to grow up a bit herself. Depending on this boy-man to turn into a responsible dad is not realistic and a waste of her valuable time. She has only a few months to make sure she has a job, childcare...and a mature attitude. If she insists on trying to make this wobbling guy stand up and act like a man and a dad, she will be raising two children instead of one.

@greenmountaingal I think she's a bit immature and so is her baby daddy. I have a feeling she'll raise this baby by herself just like she did the first one but she said she was ready for this before she even got pregnant. She works for someone but when she goes for maternity she won't be getting any pay and I'm wondering how she'll handle the responsibility without any source of income since her baby daddy is so irresponsible
