Nope. Usually, the people they marry are also highly educated, since people are generally around others who are similar to them. That's why doctors marry doctors and teachers marry teachers.

@BubbleBot Not an ideal world, just a real one. People usually marry others with similar education, social class, race, etc. The doctors and teachers thing was just to make a simple comparison. People marry people that they're around/connected to. A highly educated woman who has put a lot of effort to reach their goals probably isn't planning on settling for just any dumb man off the streets. They have to actually have things in common.

Women, as a whole, seem to have more self-respect in this regard. IMO, many women really value communication and they realize a dumb man can’t provide intellectual stimulation.
