Why girls like the Spartacus?

I am watching the DVD box set Spartacus Gods of the Arena and it is very brutal and not nice. There is much violence such as stabbing and neck chopping, bashing and also rupturing of the abdomen so that the bowels spill out of the body. It is not very nice. But all the girls love the brutal gladiators and expose there breasts to him while he slays people in the setting of area of gladiators!

This is upsetting because the slaying gladiators violence will upset the mothers of the people he kills. If I was in the area of gladiators I would not fight! Even if I was a mighty slayer.
