What does it mean when your boyfriend gives you a kiss on the top of your head?

Means he cares about you, that's what I think when I do it. Could be protective

Is he taller than you? It means a quick kiss don't think too much your still very young, enjoy! ;)

I doubt it means anything much other than showing affection and you happened to be at the right angle to kiss the top of your head.
