What is the right definition of perverted?

Someone starring can quite frankly be easily labelled a pervert whereas someone sending explicit messages or content can be deemed upfront and bold. Where to draw the line exactly?

Perverted to most people means being confronted, or forced into dealing with, sexual behavior they don't personally like. No one likes receiving messages they have stated they don't want. It's not so much the specific sexual content but the fact that it's being displayed before someone who hasn't requested it, or who is clearly put off by it. Flashers in a park don't expose themselves to little old ladies, or small children, because they think those people will like it, but because theydon't.

@greenmountaingal This may seem off topic, but isn't. Have you seen Pink Cadillac? Clint Eastwood and Bernadette Peters. There's a classic line in that movie, said to a flasher.

@Serenitree Once when I was living with my boyfriend back in the 60s, there was a knock on our apartment door, and my boyfriend opened the door, then turned back into the room and said, deadpan, "It's for you!"

I went to the door and there was a flasher, unzipped and exposed. Because of my boyfriend's deadpan humor, I burst out laughing--and the flasher...wilted. I asked him, "Do you do this sort of thing often?" He turned and ran away looking, amazingly, embarrassed.
