Why?

Why is it when you tell some people that you aren't interested, they still try to build a relationship, and when you try to be nice about everything, they think you are still interested and continue to pursue? There is a difference between pursuing and pressuring.

Honestly, that doesn't happen to me because I am quite firm if they don't get it the first time. You just can't worry about their feelings if they continue to cross your boundaries
