@GarryToppins Yeah. He might. Really, the fugly janitor *could* probably attract the female celebrity. He would just have to be very suave and know which buttons to press.

Generally, yes, women are hypergamous and desire men of high status or wealth. But, that's just one factor, to them. Women consider a wide array of factors. Money is certainly one of them. It's been shown women have stronger orgasms with wealthy men. But, at the same time, social skills and dominance is also a factor.

I've known poor as dirt guys living out of their cars who were able to make rich, attractive women swoon and pay for their shit.

Again. A woman may generally look at one night stands as horrid. But, if a guy is just too damn hot, top 1% of guys, [b]he reaches that set value point[/b], even if all his other stats are low--like money or social skills or ambition or personality. Those are all factors, and if one trait is exceptionally high, it makes up for the others being low. Likewise, if most traits are stable or sufficiently average, a lot of women will want that guy, too.

For a romantic partner? You have to be attracted to them. There has to be a balance. Looks are useless without a good personality and a great personality can make someone more attractive, for sure.
