Girl all I can say is varied. I think you have to go into it understanding that the ultimate goal (for the guy at least) is to hook up. Don't expect anything serious to come out of it. If they wanted something serious, they'd be looking around at girls they know. Think about it, how many couples do you know met on tinder? That being said, you can meet some really cool people. And not so cool people. One guy took me to Chicago and was pretty damn sweet in general. And obviously there's gonna be weirdos soo good times and bad times. BTW the Chicago guy and I continued to talk for half a year and became good friends.
Over all tinder has been alright.

@HelpIsNotOnItsWay I know quite a few couples that met online, actually - even long term married ones. "Looking around at girls they know" is not something I've seen anyone do deliberately when looking for a partner. It happens, generally accidentally, but few make that their default approach - especially after they leave college, etc.

@HelpIsNotOnItsWay Men, at least men that I know, go on tinder to find partners, period. We tend to decide what sort of partner someone will be [i]after[/i] we meet them, doesn't matter how or where.

@HelpIsNotOnItsWay I can only speak for myself but yes I go on tinder and other apps to find a relationship. You'll find tinder varies by region, it's not all about hooking up.

@HelpIsNotOnItsWay Keep in mind that after college, your access to single attractive women your age drops dramatically. Your friends will be paired up 95% of the time, and many of the people you will be meeting will be in different age groups, etc. So more and more, people tend to meet romantic partners either in the course of nightlife (bars/clubs/etc) or online, especially as they get older. These days over a third of marriages start online.
