Would you say dating is a numbers game?

You have people that are 4, 5, 8, and very few that are 10. You basically have little to zero chance with numbers above you. And if it's a friend, well hell would surely freeze over first. Feels like I'm stuck at a 5 and my standards are too damn high.

I think dating is decidedly a numbers game if that’s how you approach it, and apparently that IS how you approach it.

Have you tried walking up to a girl you consider an 8 or 9 and just telling the truth. ‘Look, I date people strictly for their looks, and I was wondering if I paid you fifty dollars if you’d be seen with me out and about because I’m trying to raise MY market value.’
