Would you date someone the same version as you in personality wise? Or do you prefer someone different like completely opposite?

I don't see how a really close relationship can develope with someone radically different in outlook. And I mean in everything - things of the mind and things well below. Of course when it blows up in your face after years, the loss and pain are all the more acute.
