I don't see how a really close relationship can develope with someone radically different in outlook. And I mean in everything - things of the mind and things well below. Of course when it blows up in your face after years, the loss and pain are all the more acute.

A bit of both. I like people with some traits the same as mine like sense of humour or shared hobbies etc but at the same time some traits would just clash.

I’ve never met a man like me. I’ve had plenty of the opposite though so I’d probably give it a try out of curiosity.

I like a mix of similar to me in some ways, but different as well. Couldn't handle an exact copy of me it would be too intense.
