A situation like that NEVER ends well. You two need to both leave there because I highly doubt one will give over to the other. It's the mature thing to do.

It depends on what the lease says. That governs first. If no satisfaction there, the landlord can decide. Third, the law in your area decides. Note, 2 and 3 can switch depending on higher law. Good luck.

Well you couldn't do it in the uk, if both names are in the lease providing they are paying their share of the bills you're stuck until one of you decides to move on.
