Am I bad for that?

So my relationship has been going sour for the past few months and its been a short 7 months before that. Longer distance and more time in class over the summer and a job prevented us from seeing each other. Buuut I met another girl who is THE perfect match for what i have always wanted. I have drifted so far already but this new girl is a catalyst. Im waiting for the right time to tell my gf that someone else showed me how bad it really was. Less of a question more of a rant but am I a bad guy for even talking to this new girl that probably isnt super into me? To give insight, we are so similar we make the same jokes at the same time and have the same ideas for everything. Its kinda scary but amazing.
