Is romance dead?

Was watching a relatively old romance movie and looking how people act these days there is not much romance left,most would consider romance cringy,embarassing,lame these days,which is kinda sad.

That movie is based on a book about people trying to force a relationship on people who just aren’t into them...it’s not romantic
