What to do on a first "Date"

Oh my god, after finally mustering up enough courage to ask out my crush, and I'll refer to him as 'Lucas' from now on, he said yes!

Can you believe it?
Sill ol' me managed to ask someone to hang out with her!
And none other than a member of the Upperclassmen's soccer team!

And here I am sitting on the bus, knowing not what to propose we'd do when we meet up!
I can't possibly just invite him home to just talk, can I?
I haven't thought this through enough!

Walking in a park is a good idea. Or, if you have a bit of money, go for a dessert at a local bakery (it's a good way to learn what he likes), the drive in, or you really could invite him in to watch a movie, but if he shows up kind of dressed up? I don't know what to say :p

I think the idea of getting desert or ice cream and walking and talking is good. No stress, you get to know each other. Going to a movie can be weird for a first date because you can't talk during the movie.

Yes, you can invite him to your home. As a dad, I think it’s a good idea. Hang out at home while your parents are there. 👍🏼

Coffee. And if the weather will bear it, a walk in a park. Stuff you can do while talking freely, basically.
Not have sex.
Not eat awkwardly.
Not over share.
Not wear oversized 80s clothes.
