It seems like there are so many lonely people....why then is it so hard to find someone to be with?

There are reasons why some people are single.

I think people, more than ever, are too selfish for relationships currently. Everyone wants to fall in love their idea of a perfect partner, not an actual flawed human being.

I agree Gigi, but unfortunately some people may find themselves attracted to someone that is not attracted to them. It is a difficult process to find someone that you connect with; and then it can be tough after that.

Because, despite the loneliness, they enjoy their status in life. Being with someone else would make things more difficult for them. I know, I wouldn't pass up getting to know someone
