How did you find out the truth about Santa?

My friend Anna told me when we were really young somewhere between 4 and 6 and reminded me yearly, and I pretended I didn't believe her even though I did so that I could keep getting a Santa gift. 😂

I found the same gifting wrapper "Santa" used under my parents bed. Then they said santa needs to borrow gift wrapping paper sometimes. I believed it....

What ruined the magic for me was school lol. All 3rd graders had the assignment of pretending to be a kindergartners elf. That's when it hit me..."wait...elfs aren't real?! The letter i got from my elf was really from some 3rd grader?!"

Never had it.

School kids told me. When I asked my parents, they told me the kids probably said that because Santa didn’t visit them anymore. They added, “Santa doesn’t come to children who don’t believe in him.” I got the hint.
