Is it okay to dance with other women when you have a girlfriend?

My girlfriend and I attended a friend's wedding, then during the reception, another woman approached me and asked if I'd like to dance. I asked my girlfriend if it was okay and she said yes. Is that okay?

Why not? I'm sure you'd be fine with your GF dancing with other men, surely she does that on girls night out
