Are there men who really WILL fight for love?

And I mean if there’s an obvious connection, maybe you’ve been together for a while and things are shaky...or, maybe you see the potential and know she’s been hurt so there are walls up?

For me, I’ve always been the one to fight for it. With my ex husband, I tried for so many years. Talked to him about it, went to marriage therapy, gave romance, etc... but he never tried to fight for it with me. With an ex boyfriend it was the same thing. These are just my experiences so I’m genuinely curious...

Are there men that would reciprocate? Or be persistent enough not to give up so easily?

I don't know that I'd call it fighting for love. Maybe tenacious, determined. I was stubborn and determined when I was married and gave my all while trying to save it.
I truly believe there are men and women who will do all they can to keep a relationship alive. While there are others who simply walk away. It's easy to give up and walk away. I've always felt that if someone truly loves another, it's not shown just by words. It's by their actions. Seeing someone give up and walk away shows a lot. I admit that I did finally walk away, but I also know that I tried my best and for those 10 years, my best was never and would never be enough.
