I don't care about age at all. Its the connection I pay attention to. But keeping that in mind... guys my age tend to be immature and self centered. So I do tend to date older than me.

But if my dad says "hey, didn't we play college baseball together?" I know I'm pushing the limit!

The reason they are older because I merit-skipped two years in high school.

Yes. It's important to me that I'm with someone close to me in age. I'm not really attracted to people much older (or younger) than me. We need to be at similar points in our life so I can relate to them and vice versa.
