Does he like me or not?

I met this guy on an online dating site, we've met once. So, he texts me daily, like literally every early morning I wake up to a 'good morning honey' text followed by a few talks in between and occasional goodnights. Thing is, it's always just small talk and a few endearing words(from him) ..and I'm tired of it,i mean i don't want to get too emotionally involved if he's not so into me. I really like him ...I feel like if he wanted something more he'd try to get to know me,plus I cannot come across as needy. Unfortunately we can't meet as he's now out of the country. what do you think about this situation ? Thanks.

I think you should be honest with him and tell him the same words as what you wrote there. He needs to know how you feel about it and where you want to go with it (or with him) , about how you feel now, and your expectations. If I was you I'd ask him "If you'd really like to get to know me, I think we should have other ways to contact each other than only text messages because this is getting annoying to me and I want to know where I stand with you and what you expect from me." But that he's now out of the country might make things more difficult, but then I would suggest to use Skype instead of text messages (and hope he won't always ask you to show a body part of you because then he's clearly all about adventures and lust and not being a responsible type of honest truthful guy, you know..)

I experienced something similair just recently. And it didnt work out, just because it didn't feel like anything serious would come from it. If someone likes you and they are serious then they would try to get to know you.

What more do you want? I mean without ever meeting, and being far apart distance wise, what could really come of this?
