Thinking about leaving a positive pregnancy test out for my partner to find to kind of tell him without telling him... opinions?

If you're going to be parents, you need to be grownups...and a straightforward conversation and announcement is a good place to start. Leaving the test out for him to find sorta says...you tell me how you feel and if you get it right, I'll tell you how I feel, which is neither fair nor adult.
