@Mrblue With needy, manipulative partners? Sure, in my younger days when I put up with a little of that crap.

@LyricalOne How do you solve that? I was at one point try putting my phone in front of my face every time so that whenever i got the message, i can reply quickly...

@Mrblue That's no way to live. You can't allow yourself to be held hostage to their insecurities.

You can be loving but at the same time, encourage them to work on those insecurities. You also need to explain that you're just not always gonna be available the minute they message. And they'll either learn to make the necessary changes or you might want to consider parting ways.

@LyricalOne I know. It always weigh me down whenever i hear the phrase like "You don't care about me anymore" or "You don't love me anymore". and even worst, "I am not important in your life". If only they know that the sadness is unbearable... but the cause is so little, just a late texting message...

@Mrblue If I loved them, I might give them a chance to make changes but not for long before I head for the door. Like I said, it's no way to live. You're an emotional hostage.

@LyricalOne Thank you, you are very understanding and had giving me the most helpful advice. Some people they can't see that they are hurting others emotionally in their action. The only time they will realize is when the person had turn severely ill or damaged. And at that time, there is nothing they can do or say to reverse it.
