How to end a marriage when finances are intertwined?

@AmorFati I think he'd end up being okay emotionally in the long run. But we pay rent and utilities together, and I want to leave. We've built something of a life together, no kids (thank goodness), but we do have pets and other obligations together.

@someonetorelateto ah ok .. I get it ... Only way is talking and finding out a way which both take some hit ... That way heart burns are less... People are less interested in how much they have lost as compared to how much is the financial loss of the other person... So if it's balanced then less of a heartache...
