When a couple breaks up (dating, marriage whatever) do you think it’s rude or invasive to ask why?

If you’re not super close I’d say yes. Personally my closest friends and family asking wouldn’t bother me I’d get why they’d want to know. But there’s also nothing wrong with setting that boundary of not wanting to talk about it
