So would it be crazy/ creepy if someone traveled across the country to meet someone they've lost contact with years ago

They haven't talked in many years and only talked a few days maybe a week or two.The person is traveling their just in hopes of running into them at place they know she hangs out at. The guy has never talked to another girl or been attracted to another person. He still keeps up with her by twitter. They have almost everything in common. they just drifted apart because of distance nothing on bad terms.

@SW-User So how long have you known her? How long since you saw her? What was your relationship like back then? Does she know you want to visit?

@Serenitree the scenario came from a convention at work about Robert John Bardo and how easy something like that could happen today with so much social media. It just kinda turned into an example like this one I posted. But anyway they dragged me into because I'm planning a trip to California for a week or two and was planning on hitting up an old friend. But we never dated or lost touch with each other we message a couple times a year and catch but I have too much social anxiety and arkwandness to meet internet friends in real life

@SW-User I don't have social anxiety, and I won't meet with internet friends. I think it would be foolhardy. On the other hand, there are a couple I've known online since 2010, and I feel I'd be safe with them, but it would have to be somewhere public, with a lot of people around.

@SW-User But Bardo was never friends with the woman he stalked. The scenario you described is different. It's two old friends. He was a stalker.
