If it's a relationship worth keeping, you both stop the affair, open a line of communication and explore what led to the infidelity and whether it means the end of your relationship or a learning obstacle for it.
It's popular and reflexive to say, "dump the loser," but it's myopically shoving everything your relationship is and means into the box of a single affair. If you want to come through something, you've got to go through it first. Talk to him, get the affair stops, inventory your relationship and start the work if that's what you decide to do. Good luck.
