Is my army boyfriend planning to get married to me?

We’ve been together for 4 years and he’s been in boot camp for 2 months now but we’ve agreed to do the long distance relationship but my question is why would he go through all this trouble if he didn’t want to get married to me, is this how it’s supposed to be
