According to a Canadian study, the cost of "love" is 72,082.57 CAD or about 57,574 USD for a two year relationship.

...not including time, breakup and divorce. Should the poor receive financial support for the expenses with a valid prescription for "love"? ;)

Actually there's one minor error in your summary, under Trudeau's time in office $72,082.57 CAD will be about $ 142.67 USD...

🤔 Does this include step kids?
Lets add that to the equation...
Wait.
It's so wrong.
Financial Armageddon.
OMFG No.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
In another study it was found that 99% of most other studies contained made up statistics.

To me---money is no object whatsoever----and I'm so generous with women that some of my own friends call me a sucker----but $57,574 spent on the average 2 year relationship is a crock. Unless you buy them a Jaguar in that first two years.

@anythingoes477 To be honest, the price includes wedding, which in their calculation was about half the price, but I already couldn't fit a succinct description in the question... Also that seems to sort of assume after wedding you pay nothing :p
@Faust76 I can't imagine marrying that fast for one thing. Take your time---get to know---travel---live together a while--enjoy life together before life buries you both under the responsibilities of marriage. Marriage should be ONCE---not done "because I was lonely"--or any other equally weak reason. Since it is done once for life---surely that should be reason enough to take a while to be sure. If more were sure---we'd not have a 55% divorce rate in the first year. When you see those figures---you KNOW they didn't take enough time to really see what they were getting. Slow down....do it right.
